đ± 3 Marketing Masters Youâll Want to Learn From
Practical Lessons to Boost Your Business and Unlock Growth
From: Just West of Otay Lakes
Hey â Itâs Luis.
Welcome to Day 7 of the 30-Day Writing Challenge!
Iâve been passionate about marketing for more than two decades. But much of the progress Iâve made is thanks to these four incredible individuals:
Jay Abraham
âThe more value you give others, the more value you generate. Not only for your clients but for yourself. The more contributions you make to the richness of the lives of your clients, the more bonded you will be to them and they to you. And the more successful you will become.â âJay Abraham, Marketing Legend
From Jay Abraham, I learned there are only three ways to grow your business:
Get more clients
Increase the Average Order Value (AOV)
Get your clients to buy more frequently
For example, if you have 1,000 clients who spend $100 once a year, your income is $100,000.
A ten percent increase across the board boosts your income by 33.1%: 1,100 clients spending $110, 1.1 times per year = $133,100.

Dan Kennedy
âAll roads in direct response marketing lead back to Dan Kennedy.â Name one entrepreneur you admire on YouTube, and you bet they (or their mentors) are disciples of Dan Kennedy.
The first course on direct marketing I ever invested in was Magnetic Marketing. From Dan Kennedy, I learned the 10 Foundational Rules of Direct Marketing and the power of the Magnetic Marketing Triangle, which consists of:
Message: A truly compelling, preferably irresistible, marketing message.
Market: High-probability target marketing that identifies only those most likely to respond.
Media: The most appropriate, effective combination of media used to deliver your message to your market

Jeff Walker
Jeff pioneered the Product Launch Formula, which has powered some of the biggest launches in the info-product space for nearly two decades.
From Jeff, I learned that the Product Launch Formula is built on sequences, stories, and triggers. Today, every email marketing campaign I create for my clients includes these elements.

Bonus: Alex Hormozi
Alex is an entrepreneur, investor, and marketing genius. One of the most valuable concepts Iâve learned from Alex is âThe Rule of 100.â
âThe rule of 100 is simple. You advertise your stuff by doing 100 primary actions every day, for one hundred days in a row. Thatâs it. I don't make many promises, but this is one. If you do 100 primary actions per day, and you do it for 100 days straight, you will get more engaged leads. Commit to the rule of 100 and you will never go hungry again.â âAlex Hormozi, $100M Leads: How to Get Strangers To Want To Buy Your Stuff
I am leveraging the Rule of 100 for this newsletter: dedicating 100 minutes minimum every day to write one post a day for 100 days straight.
If you want to learn from Alex, my recommendation is simple: subscribe to his YouTube channel.
P.S. Who has influenced your marketing or business journey the most? Iâd love to hear about it!
