✈️ How to Start Your Journey to Building Wealth
Exploring the Resources That Help You Break Free and Build Freedom
Hey – it’s Luis.
Welcome to Day 3 of my 30-day writing challenge!
Yesterday, I watched Silo on AppleTV.
That show is all about survival—people living in underground silos, cut off from the outside world. It’s gripping, but it also made me think about the contrast between survival and freedom.
For me, building wealth is about freedom. Freedom to make choices, take risks, and create a life on your terms. But when I first started learning about wealth, I didn’t know where to begin. It felt overwhelming, like staring at the walls of a silo, unable to see the bigger picture.
If you’re ready to break out and begin your wealth-building journey, here are three resources I highly recommend:
1. Read This Book
The Almanack of Naval Ravikant: A Guide to Wealth and Happiness by Eric Jorgenson.
This book lays out the principles of wealth and happiness with clarity. Naval’s ideas about specific knowledge, leverage, and judgment changed the way I approach my work and goals.
2. Watch This YouTube Video
If I Wanted to Become a Millionaire In 2024, This is What I'd Do [FULL BLUEPRINT] by Alex Hormozi. Alex gives practical, no-nonsense advice for building a business. This video is a must-watch for anyone looking to take their first steps toward entrepreneurship.
3. Listen to This Podcast
9 Brutal Truths of Money – How to Get Rich from Nothing by Dan Martell.
Listen here.
Dan challenges the lies society tells about money and power and shares principles to break free from those constraints.
As he puts it:
“These are the lies you’ve been told that have been ingrained in our society to keep money and power out of your hands. But there are principles, although some controversial, that can reverse these lies and allow you to build wealth from nothing. I’ve personally used some of these principles to go from a broke 17-year-old to making my first million at 27 years old. And I still use these principles to generate wealth and create abundance in my life.”
This podcast episode is an eye-opener and a great addition to your wealth-building toolkit.
These three resources helped me shift from survival mode to thinking about freedom and opportunity. I hope they’ll inspire you to do the same.
P.S. What’s a resource that has inspired your journey toward freedom? Let me know—I’d love to hear about it!
