We went to FREE Tuesdays at Balboa Park
On Tuesday, Gemma and I went to Balboa Park for an adventure.
Hey, it’s Luis!
On Tuesday, Gemma and I went to Balboa Park for an adventure.
I searched "Resident Free Days" to find out which museums are free. I was surprised to see that many museums have free days for San Diego residents, active military, and their families. So, we decided to go!
On the first Tuesday of October, the San Diego Natural History Museum (The Nat) was free. It’s their 150th anniversary, so it was a perfect time to visit.
Whenever we go on an adventure, I like to make a video. Usually, I use my iPhone, but this time, I brought my Sony camera and a special stabilizer to get better shots.
Why?
Because I want to get better at making and editing videos, and the only way to get better is to practice (I definitely need all the practice I can get).
A little reflection: We usually visit art museums, and at home, the kids love doing arts and crafts.
Gemma loves drawing animals and even makes her own “zines”. But on this trip, I learned that Gemma loves The Nat even more than all the art museums we’ve visited so far.
I’m grateful for Resident Free Days because it’s an opportunity to experience something new.
I hope you enjoy the video!
