About Luis Lozano

From: Just West of Otay Lakes
Hey, it's Luis.
I help people build better lives and successful businesses. But my path here wasn't straight or easy.
Where It Started
In 2002, my brother and I started a business in our parents' garage. By 2007, we had built a successful software company with over 100,000 users.
But I was struggling inside.
Even though things looked good outside, I felt like a fake. To deal with these hard feelings, I started drinking. What began as a way to feel better soon became a problem I couldn't fix alone.
The Day Everything Changed
In November 2014, I hit my lowest point. I asked for help for the first time: "God, help me get to a recovery meeting."
That simple prayer changed my whole life. I learned how to build a new life from the ground up through a recovery program.
"God did for me what I could not do for myself."
The Hard Years
In 2016, my marriage fell apart. I spent two years trying to save something that was already broken.
"I was a sandcastle king."
The divorce took two years. During this time, I went to counseling to face the pain I had been running from. This hard work wasn't just healing but preparing me for what came next.
Starting Fresh
In 2020, I took over the email marketing for an online store that wasn't growing. Here, I found my purpose.
I built a system for helping businesses grow by:
Telling stories that connect with customers
Testing what works and what doesn't
What I Share Now
Every Tuesday, I send out a letter with:
Simple tips that work in real life
Ways to grow your business
Stories of Fresh Starts
Tools to build a better future
I can see the U.S. Olympic Training Center from my desk, where athletes push their limits daily. It's a fitting reminder that success—whether in sports, business, or life—comes from being ready to do the work every day.
I believe in second chances, fresh starts, and, most importantly, that your biggest struggles can lead to your most significant wins.
